Hope Beyond the Darkest Cloud: Finding Light in Life’s Final Chapter

This week my focus is on hope. When I was a member of a local choir, we sang a song by Mark Miller. The text was attributed to an anonymous Jewish prisoner during the Holocaust and were reportedly found written on a cellar wall in Cologne, Germany: "I believe in the sun even when it is not shining..." The music does not deny suffering: instead, it voices a steady conviction that light, love, and presence persist - even when unseen.
My focus this week: Behind the darkest cloud, the sun still shines.
